Las Vegas Bars With A View
August 18, 2016
My partner and I are jetting to Las Vegas next month, for the second time this year.
Las Vegas bars are so vibrant and lively that we were sucked back into their majestic aurora.
Some may think we’re crazy for roving to the same place again, but regular Vegas tourists will understand why; it’s a 24/7 adrenaline rush where you’re addicted to the towering hotels and bright lights. Nothing can beat it!
Stunning bars with city views and fabled bartenders with aptitude makes Vegas a nirvana of fun and ecstasy.
Las Vegas Bars With Scenic Views
As a pair, we’re more foodies than cocktail connoisseurs, but with the vibe so wild in sin city, it’s pretty much compulsory to have an alcoholic beverage in hand every night.
Plus, Vegas bartenders are the epitome of excellence, so you have to see them in action.
For each bar, I’ve tracked the driving distance from The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas (note, that walking adds on extra miles because of the lack of walkways).
I’m not sure how the Mandarin Bar managed to miss our bucket list for our last trip! Looking at pictures, it’s all glitz and magnetism, and judging from reviews, real life magnetises its stunning views.
You can never go wrong with floor-to-ceiling windows and courteous bar staff, and that’s what you get here.
Location: Mandarin Oriental, 23rd floor
Distance: 0.3 miles, 2 mins
Ghostbar offers panoramic views of the city and doesn’t scrimp on the necessities – cocktails! When here, you feel like you’re soaring above the city; it’s breathtaking.
If you’re searching for a sophisticated bar which is intimate, then this is the place for you.
Location: Palms Hotel, 55th floor
Distance: 1.8 miles, 7 mins
The Foundation Room
I thought my excitement for Las Vegas bars had peaked, but thanks to The Foundation Room, I’m raring to go even more.
With a spacious balcony, there’s enough room for all ages to soak up striking views of the strip.
P.S. Sign up to their guest list in advance to receive free admission.
Location: House of Blues, 63rd floor
Distance: 1.3 miles, 6 mins
Eiffel Tower Restaurant
The Eiffel Tower restaurant and bar is the epitome of what a Las Vegas bar should be. Hovering just above the ground, you’re up close and personal with the Bellagio fountains, the hustle and bustle of the strip and towering hotels.
Pure elegance and romance; a great place to get the night started!
Location: Paris Hotel
Distance: 0.4 miles, 3 mins (walking)
Rhumbar is a stylish and striking bar with a Caribbean attitude. It has a wonderful ambiance and perfect if you’re looking to unwind, rather than party.
Escape from the madness and enjoy lavish views of the nightly volcano eruption at the Mirage hotel opposite.
Location: 3400 South Las Vegas Boulevard (the strip)
Distance: 1.3 miles, 9 mins
It wasn’t easy to wind down the best bars on the strip to a measly five, but we did it. Now I’m counting down the days to visit them and sip cocktails with unforgettable views.
