There’s a huge selection of new brands being introduced constantly to the show. You will be able to explore new tastes and learn about the history of different drinks. Here’s a little taster of just a few of the new brands you can expect to hear about at the Boutique Bar Show in Glasgow.

Mr Black Coffee Liqueur

If you enjoy coffee and alcohol, then this drink has the best of both worlds. Mr Black Coffee Liqueur is an Australian drink created by designer Tom Baker and Philip Moore. The coffee is originated from Arabica beans from Ethiopia, Brazil and Papua New Guinea and blended with pure Australian grain spirit.

Belsazar Vermouth

This wine has tones of bitter chocolate, candied orange and vanilla all in one. Belsazar Red is a modern classic, exclusively handcrafted in South Baden at the edge of the Black Forest.

The show has something for everyone with plenty of speakers and business professionals at hand to inspire you and provide plenty of advice. Here’s a run through of the day…

11.30am-12.30pm – Management Development Workshop

Special guest Stephen will present techniques to help you get more out of your team and inspire them. He’ll provide ideas to help you manage your teams, making it perfect for any manager to take something away from the talk.

1pm-5pm – Signature Serve Bar

Do you want to taste and see the world’s best cocktails? This part of the day will provide you with plenty of knowledge and inspiration to capturing the perfect taste. Venues from Aberdeen, Edinburgh and Glasgow will all take part in serving cocktails available to the public. Bars present include The Tippling House, Bramble and Kelvingrove Café.

1pm-2pm – Foraged Cocktail Ingredients

If you want to make your drinks filled with unique and exciting flavours, you’ll be given plenty of inspiration from Mark Williams, a local forager, as he uses ingredients from the countryside to spice up drinks.

2.30pm-3.30pm – Presenting Your Drinks With NightJar

Nightjar was voted third in World’s Best Bars in 2014, and they know a thing or two about making the perfect cocktail. The intense flavours and exquisite presentation of their cocktails show exactly why they were awarded this title, and Nightjar share their secrets with everyone.

4pm-5pm – Fermenting Cocktail Ingredients

You definitely can’t afford to miss the last hour of the day, as Rémy Savage and Matthew Long present new cocktail flavours using fermentation.

This session will help you to capture new flavours and essences in your cocktails to stand out from the crowd and serve something never tasted before.

Gabriel Boudier Cocktail Competition

Gabriel Boudier Cocktail Competition at the Glasgow Boutique Bar Show

If you’re up for a challenge and want to learn more about cocktail making at the same time, then you have to take part in the Gabriel Boudier Cocktail competition.

All entrants will be bartenders from around the UK, and the challenge is to create the most original and tastiest cocktail out of everyone. The winner will be rewarded by their drink being adopted by Gabriel Boudier for a 2016 launch as a part of their award winning Crème and Bartender Liqueur ranges.
